The show starts with a discussion on Zoom-ready rooms, technology issues between Apple and non-Apple things and the great folks who help us all say, "it just works." The guys talk about holiday entertainment viewing and their favorite episodes and movies to watch. The actual food safety content also takes a holiday focus with a chat about eggnog and fruitcakes. Ben plays a game of "guess the foods" with Don (and he gets most of them correct). The discussion goes to allergen denaturation during cooking and histamine production in fish (and one of Ben's favorite Raleigh outbreaks). The guys end the show on a cinnamon/apple sauce deep dive, and their best guesses as to what might be happening in a national situation related to lead intoxication.
