Don and Ben are back from IAFP and other trips and get things started talking about famous quotes related to New Jersey and North Carolina and Ben's rafting trip to West Virginia. They talk about some department head/chair things and Getting Things Done and then get into food safety stuff. They do a round of their favorite bit, ABC CDC FDA+ (PHAC edition). The discussion goes to research, as part of his IAFP preparation Ben stumbled across a few papers that he wanted to talk to Don about. These papers took them on a discussion path about pizza held at room temperature, food safety while camping and cut produce held at room temperature (and the complicated regulatory landscape around that in the US). They ended the show talking about FDA warning letters around Delta 8 edibles.
